2011 Vaila Daenna Van Mulligan
This delicious Pinot Noir rose … is made in the Saignee (bleeding the juice) method to extract its pale pink colour. It presents a mix of sweet summer fruits – red cherries, peach, raspberries and strawberries, which are layered with orange peel, violets, spicebox and cedary notes. The palate follows this trend with juicy berries and exotic citrus with a core of earthy/forest floor flavours. It has a solid foundation, good focus and a long juicy finish trailing fine spice flavours.
