David Lawrason Review: Vaila Rosé 2016

This is 100% pinot noir rose. It has a bright, moderately deep, orange-pink colour. The nose shows pretty, quite youthful somewhat reductive aromas of sour cherry jam, herbs and struck flint. It’s mid-weight, quite intense and very dry, with intense flavours and very good length. A touch of youthful CO2 on the palate as well Some bitter cranberry-redcurrant fruit on the finish. Tart and juicy. Best latter half of 2017 through 2019. Tasted April 2017
