La Feuille D’Or is our vineyard in the heart of the Golden Mile, one of the absolute best terroirs in the Okanagan Valley.
This vintage is where our first Equinoxe wine, the 2006 Equinoxe Cabernet Franc was grown. The views east across the valley are lovely with the canal in the foreground and Black Sage Bench in the background. In 2010 nearly 4 acres of this vineyard was wiped out by a mudslide that originated high in the hills west of the valley. Among the vines that were lost was a block of 30 year old Chardonnay vines.
